Taken beneath a flyover whilst hunting for graffiti. Tip - always look down, left, right, forward, backward and up.

Flyovers, bridges and other suspended structures often yield really cool stuff underneath, especially if they're concrete structures because of the leaching of water through the lime, sometimes you even get pseudo stalactites

Take a tripod, it's dark under there, and also remember to bung a UV or neutral filter on your glass, bridges can and do drop not only water but also sizable pieces of grit and dust, not the sort of thing you want hitting your precious best glass at a good few mph.

Print available.

I always use a skylight just because it came with it on... and I STILL get fecking dust and hair in my lens! Bastard.

This looks like a cross section of rock. I enjoy layers immensely.

I agree. Whoever doesn't fit (and keep) a UV filter immediately on their lens deserves what they get.

I don't all the time. Sometimes. If it's particularly windy or dusty I will.
